Realizing I had an abundance of purple coloured clothing in my closet, I thought it would only be appropriate that I made an outfit entirely of purple. One way to colour block is to incorporate shades of the SAME colour into an outfit.

white hooded jacket: nordstrom rack

on my nails: opi steady as she rose
Realizing that ALL purple would make me look like a giangantuan grape (Violet Beauregarde from Willy Wonka, anyone?), I added a splash of pink via my footwear. It just so happened that this pink coordinates with the pink on the tank! YAY! That off white jacket? Well, I just like it.
Would you try to pull off this look? Or just use your nails to add some accent colours?
